PHILOSOPHY
The written word is powerful. As both a writer and editor, Karah Fisher is aware of that power. She also knows that even the best writers have blind spots, and good writing deserves good advocates. She sees her editorial role as that of accomplished advocate--partnering with writers to refine their work to its strongest, purest, most perfect form.

Karah knows it is an honor to be entrusted with people's writing, and is gifted at helping writers stay true to their own intentions and unique voice. She believes that good editing names strengths just as effectively as it articulates weaknesses and proposes improvements. She considers it her task to highlight strengths and help authors maximize them, to keep writing on track with its publication goals and connected to its intended audience, as well as to catch errors, correct mistakes, work through weak spots, detect the superfluous, and notice what's missing. Karah edits because she delights in language. She knows that writing matters, and enjoys assisting others toward writing success.
